Disability Care that puts you at the centre.

Welcome to Amini Home and Community Care. Amini is the Swahili word for ‘believe’. The foundation of our care for you is our belief in you and your belief in us. The shared respect, kindness and the time we take to understand each person creates a trust that is priceless. This tangible expression of belief is what enables and empowers individuals to fulfil their goals and live their dreams.

The Amini team bring a culture of care and person-centred approach to the delivery of a range of disability services that puts the client firmly at the centre of everything we do. Our collective experiences across disability and aged care have forged our foundation of building our services on belief in understanding the needs of each individual.

The quality of care we give is highly personalised - with no assumptions made based on condition or the view of others. Every person is unique so we understand and respond to your preferences, so you can live your best life and make the most of who you are. Each person we work with, we treat them as if they were a member of our own family. We look forward to serving you or your family member with our range of services & supports.

Meeting with the Amini team

Let's start right for you

Coordinating the right supports & service for your needs and preferences can be challenging. Often, a conflicted provider will suggest services that they themselves are well placed to deliver - as opposed to focusing on what you need.

Not with Amini Home and Community Care. We focus on you and if we are not best placed to support your needs from a service delivery perspective, we will work with you to identify the best provider through our extensive networks.

We are here to help. Amini Home and Community Care Care can assist you in a variety of tasks, which include engaging and managing your multidisciplinary care team, budgeting, planning for your future needs  and making decisions on which supports are best for you.

We can support you to:

  • Understand your NDIS plan

  • Negotiate with providers about what they offer you and how much their services will cost out of your plan

  • Connect with community, mainstream and other government services

  • Plan ahead and prepare for your plan review

  • Get the most out of your funded supports

  • Navigate any issues with providers and advocate on your behalf

  • Ensure that you personally have a "direct line" to all of your providers
